If you’re looking for a pair of leather shoes that will last, they’re right at the top of my list. I’ve worn a lot of shoes in my life and I can attest to the fact that they don’t get better with age. However, I like to keep my shoes that I started with, and this one is one of my favorites.

The reason I decided to take my shoes out of the box is because I really don’t like to have them all on a single store shelf. This was a mistake, because I know that many shoes will come off in that same shopping experience. My husband and I both bought a few pairs of boots in the ’70s that had the same look, but they probably wouldn’t be selling as many as I wanted.
